A drone light show illuminated the New York City skyline as part of a tribute marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

The installation, titled "2,977 Lights Over New York Harbor," used 2,977 drones to recreate the Twin Towers at full scale over New York Harbor, with each light representing one of the victims killed on September 11, 2001.

The display was staged as a test ahead of the official commemoration marking 25 years since the attacks.

The artwork was developed in collaboration with artists, producers, and members of the 9/11 community, including victims' families, survivors, and first responders.
