Privacy Policy

BlitzNEWS privacy policy (blitznews.net) describes how we collect, use and protect data on our website and when publishing to connected social accounts.

Data we collect

When you visit blitznews.net, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and visit time. We use this to understand traffic and to keep the site working.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze site traffic. Google may use cookies in accordance with its privacy policy.

Advertising

Third-party ads may be displayed on the site and may use cookies for personalization and measurement. Those partners have their own privacy policies.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience, for analytics, and for advertising. You can disable or delete them in your browser settings.

Social accounts

BlitzNEWS publishes editorial content to social accounts that we connect, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. When a TikTok account is connected through TikTok Login, we receive the account identifier, display name, profile image, and access tokens needed to post videos our newsroom prepares. We use that information only to publish to the authorized account and to show editors which account is connected. We do not sell it.

Readers of blitznews.net are not asked to sign in with TikTok. Authorization is only for the BlitzNEWS account that an editor connects. You can revoke that access in TikTok’s own app settings. Tokens are stored on our servers and are not placed in the public website.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers that help us run the site, such as analytics and advertising partners, and with social platforms when we publish content you or our newsroom have authorized.

Contact

To ask about this policy or request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, email admin@blitznews.net.

Use of the site is also covered by our Terms of Service.
